Antigua beyond the beaches: a hiking tour of the Caribbean island

– A solo-travel feature written for Escapism Magazine, for this piece I travelled to the small Caribbean country to learn more about its colonial history, its cuisine and a growing interest in hiking. In November 2019, the article was awarded Consumer Feature of the Year at the Caribbean Tourism Organisation’s (CTO) Media Awards.

“This piece is written, as if one was there, encapsulating all the elements that a Caribbean destination has to offer and highlighting the destination’s diversity of culture, history and modern well-being – with inspiring photography,"

Cycling Through Trees

An article for bInspired Magazine about Cycling Through Trees. A new cycling path in Limburg, Belgium, CTT is the follow-up to Cycling Through Water, which I first covered as an advertorial writer in 2018, subsequently writing a feature on it for The Guardian the following year.

A feature piece for Guardian Travel on Cycling Through Water, a bike path in Limburg province, Belgium. The article also focuses on Pit project, an outdoor art exhibition.
